we really enjoyed our stay at scalford country house. the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. the wallace suite was spacious and comfortable. we loved the large downstairs drawing room, perfect for relaxing after walks in the beautiful countryside.

The Double Room was super comfy, and it felt really homey. The decor had a nice character, which I loved. Everything was clean and well-maintained, even with some parts being refurbished. The bed was cozy, perfect for a good night's sleep. Just wish there was a bit more focus on the grounds outside. they looked like they needed some TLC. But overall, it was a nice stay.

Had a lovely 2-night stay in a deluxe king room. Really impressive historic building. The breakfast was a highlight, with an amazing cooked selection and takeaway options. Room had a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and complimentary toiletries. The outdoor grounds are nice for walks. Quiet and peaceful environment. Staff were helpful and went out of their way to give recommendations. Restaurant was closed for dinner, but that's okay!

The historical architecture was impressive while the room cleanliness was lacking.

I appreciated the charming history and character of the property, and enjoyed the lovely Melton Country Park just a short walk away, making my weekend strolls incredibly enjoyable.

during my stay in melton mowbray, i was pleasantly surprised by how much better this place was compared to my last visit. the history of the building really added charm, and i loved the stunning views of the countryside from my room. breakfast options were exceptional, including freshly baked pastries and organic jams.

the tv positioning was awkward.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel while visiting Twinlakes Family Theme Park with my family. The staff were incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, providing enough space for a family. We enjoyed a great breakfast and the dining options were reasonably priced, which added to the overall positive experience.

We recently spent two nights in a twin room. Unfortunately, the beds were not made, and towels were left on the floor. Instead of proper service, we received bags of essentials to carry ourselves. I recommend checking for cleanliness before settling in.
